Week 4: AAC Men's Outdoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Payton Ellison of Union and Aaron Jones of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 8.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Payton Ellison - Union - Senior - Somerset, Ky.

• Won the high jump at the Centre Invitational.
• Cleared a height of 1.95 meters.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.

AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Aaron Jones - Milligan - Senior - Johnson City, Tenn.

• Hit the NAIA 'A' standard in the 10,000 at the Raleigh Relays.
• Posted a time of 29:47.61.
• Set a personal best and Milligan program record.
• Owns the second-fastest time in the NAIA in the event.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
