44 Represent AAC as NAIA Scholar Athletes in Men's Track & Field

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) placed 44 student-athletes on the list.

Milligan led the way with 15 honorees, while Montreat and Columbia International followed with seven and six honorees, respectively. Truett McConnell landed five, Bryan had four, and Point placed three. SCAD Atlanta and Tennessee Wesleyan each had two honorees.

The 2023 list features 805 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
