Week 5: AAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Dustin Blevins of Montreat and RJ Terry of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Dustin Blevins - Montreat - Junior - King, N.C.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the long jump, winning the event with a leap of 7.36 meters at the Electric City Invitational.
- Placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 14.36 meters.
- This is his second field weekly honor this season. He earned the track weekly honor once this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
RJ Terry - Montreat - Sophomore - Fayetteville, N.C.
- Hit the NAIA 'B' standard in the 100 at the Electric City Invitational.
- Won the event with a time of 10.55 seconds.
- His time is tied for the third-fastest in the AAC this season.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
