Week 1: AAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Myles Lincoln of Union and Dylan Branch of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 27.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Myles Lincoln - Union - Junior - Plainfield, Ill.
- Hit the NAIA 'B' standard in the triple jump with a leap of 14.53 meters, winning the event at the Montevallo Falcon Classic.
- Currently ranks No. 4 in the NAIA in the event.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Dylan Branch - Montreat - Junior - Avon Park, Fla.
- Hit the NAIA 'B' Standard in the 1500 with a time of 3:54.15 at the 49er Classic.
- Placed 10th in the 1500.
- Was fifth in the 800 with a time of 1:53.73.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
