Week 3: AAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jaja Davis of Montreat and Sharod Cobb of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2022 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 11.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Jaja Davis - Montreat - Sr. - Virginia Beach, Va.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' standard in the shot put with a throw of 16.47 meters at the Gotta Run Invite.
- Won the shot put and took second in the discus with a throw of 42.70 meters.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Sharod Cobb - Truett McConnell - Sr. - Waycross, Ga.
- Won the 400 hurdles at the SWU Invite a time of 55.25 seconds.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
