Week 4: AAC Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Deandre Leith of Columbia International and Keith Fletcher of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 12.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Deandre Leith - Columbia International - Junior - Kingston, Jamaica

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the shot put at the Liberty Open.
  • Had a throw of 16.82 meters to place second in the event.
  • Ranks third in the NAIA in this event.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Keith Fletcher - Milligan - Junior - Murfreesboro, Tenn.

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the 60 hurdles, placing second in the event at the VMI Winter Relays.
  • Posted a time of 8.14 seconds.
  • Ranks 11th in the NAIA in the event.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
