Week 3: AAC Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Dustin Blevins of Montreat and Wil Stockley of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 5.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Dustin Blevins - Montreat - Senior - King, N.C.

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the triple jump and long jump at the Camel City Invitational.
  • Won the triple jump with a leap of 14.66 meters, which ranks as the seventh-best leap in the NAIA this season.
  • Placed third in the long jump with a distance of 7.13 meters, which is 15th-best in the NAIA.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Will Stockley - Milligan - Graduate Student - Trowbridge, England

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the 3000, placing fourth in the event at the Camel City Invitational with a time of 8:17.06.
  • Ranks No. 2 in the NAIA in the 3000.
  • Helped the DMR team hit the NAIA 'A' Standard with an NAIA-best time of 9:58.03.
  • This is his second weekly award this season.
