Week 2: AAC Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Andrew Paolozzi of Reinhardt and Wil Stockley of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 29.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Andrew Paolozzi - Reinhardt - Junior - Jefferson, Ga.

  • Placed third in the shot put at the Samford Open.
  • Set a personal and school record with a toss of 16.77 meters.
  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the event and ranks third in the NAIA.
  • Was the top NAIA finisher in the event as there were numerous NCAA competitors at the event.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Will Stockley - Milligan - Graduate Student - Trowbridge, England

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the 1000, winning the event at the Finn Pincus Invitational with a time of 2:30.47.
  • Also won the 800 with a time of 1:57.22.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
