Week 1: AAC Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Zeke Hagley of Pikeville and Dario Lang of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 22.

AAC Field Athlete of the Week

Zeke Hagley - Pikeville - Frehsman - Ona, W.Va.

  • Won the shot put at the Pioneer Open with a toss of 14.95 meters.
  • Placed second in the weight throw weight throw with a throw of 14.43 meters.
  • This is his first weekly honor this season.


AAC Track Athletes of the Week

Dario Lang - Columbia International - Sophomore - Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica

  • Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the 60 hurdles, winning the event with a time of 8.16 seconds at the Mondo College Open.
  • Placed sixth in the 400 with a time of 52.53 seconds.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
