Week 5: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Myles Lincoln of Union and Dario Laing of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2022-23 season.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Myles Lincoln - Union - Junior - Plainfield, Ill.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the triple jump and triple jump at the Hoosier Hills Invitational.
- Won the triple jump with a leap of 14.82 meters.
- Surpassed his school record by 0.01.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Dario Laing - Columbia International - Sophomore - Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica
- Won the NCCAA national championship in the 60 hurdles.
- Set the school record in the event with a time of 8.44.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
