Week 3: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Deandre Leith of Columbia International and Bryn Woodall of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 6.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Deandre Leith - Columbia International - Junior - Kingston, Jamaica
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the shot put at the Tiger Indoor Invitational.
- Won the shot put with a toss of 15.60 meters.
- Placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 15.42 meters.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Bryn Woodall - Milligan - Sophomore - Conwy, Wales
- Posted an NAIA 'A' Standard in the mile with a time of 4:10.37, winning the event at the VMI Winter Classic.
- Helped the Distance Medley Rela team to a first-place finish with a time of 10:02.94, which is also an NAIA 'A' Standard.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
