Week 2: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Dustin Blevins of Montreat and Bryn Woodall of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 30.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Dustin Blevins - Montreat - Junior - King, N.C.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the triple jump at the Carolina Challenge.
- His leap of 15.00 meters is the third-longest distance in the NAIA.
- Placed fourth at the Carolina Challenge, competing against NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II athletes.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Bryn Woodall - Milligan - Sophomore - Conwy, Wales
- Posted an NAIA 'A' Standard in the 1,000 with a time of 2:28.60, winning the event at the COROS Collegiate Challenge.
- Helped the 4x800 relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 8:06.48.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
