Week 1: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Dustin Blevins of Montreat and Will Stockley of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 23.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Dustin Blevins - Montreat - Junior - King, N.C.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard in the long jump at the Clemson Invite.
- His leap of 7.17 meters is the top distance in the NAIA.
- Placed ninth at the Clemson Invite, competing against NCAA Division I athletes.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Will Stockley - Milligan - Grad. - Twickenham, United Kingdom
- Posted an NAIA 'B' Standard in the 1,000 with a time of 2:31.79, winning the event at the Mondo College Invitational.
- Helped the 4x800 relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 8:12.58.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
