Week 5: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Deandre Leith of Columbia International and Tyler Hallum of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
This is the fifth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2021-22 season.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Deandra Leith - Columbia International - Soph. - Kingston, Jamaica
- Hit the NAIA 'A' standard in the shot put and won the event at the NCCAA Indoor National Championships.
- Had a distance of 16.06 meters.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Tyler Hallum - Reinhardt - Fr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Posted a time of 22.47 in the 200.
- Ran the 400 in 50.28.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
