Week 1: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Myles Lincoln of Union and Will Stockley of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2021-22 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 25.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
Myles Lincoln - Union - Soph. - Plainfield, Ill.
- Placed 2nd in the triple jump at the Jim Green Invite.
- Posted an NAIA 'A' Standard mark of 14.67 meters.
- Was the lone non-NCAA competitor in the field with all but 2 being NCAA Division I athletes.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Will Stockley - Milligan - Grad. - Twickenham, United Kingdom
- Posted an NAIA 'A' Standard in the mile with a time of 4:13.33, placing third at the ETSU Invitational.
- Collected an NAIA 'B' Standard in the 800 with a time of 1:55.01, placing third overall.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
