Five More Records Set as Milligan Continue to Leads Men's, Women's Swimming Championships
KINGSPORT, Tenn. - FIve more records were set at the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships as Milligan continues to hold on to the lead in both the men's and women's championships.
The three-day event is being held in Kingsport, Tenn. at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in the HMG Competition Pool.
On the men's side, Milligan leads with 704 points with Union Commonwealth in second with 468. WVU Tech (265), Columbia (151), and Pikeville (117) round out the field.
Milligan leads the women's field with 592 points with Brenau in second with 467 and Union Commonwealth third at 451. Columbia (184), WVU Tech (117), and Pikeville (15) round out the field.
Five records were set on the day. They are:
- Men's 200 Freestyle Relay - Milligan (Paxton Smith, Caleb Fry, Michael Rinaldi, Stephen Gilbert), 1:21.67
- Men's 100 Butterfly - Enzo Constable (Union Commonwealth), 48.59
- Men's 100 Breaststroke - Caleb Fry (Milligan), 55.35
- Men's 100 Backstroke - Joash Mckonie (Milligan), 49.65
- Men's 400 Medley Relay - Milligan (Paxton Smith, Caleb Fry, Joash Mckonie, Stephen Gilbert), 3:22.95
