WALESKA, Ga. - Peter Gilbert of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 5.

• Posted an NAIA 'B' cut at a tri-match against Birmingham-Southern and Loyola.
• Won the 500 free (4:40.47) to hit the B mark in the events.
• Also won in the 1000 free with a time of 9:38.66.
• This is his second weekly honor of the season.
