WALESKA, Ga. - Peter Gilbert of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 29.

• Posted two NAIA 'B' cuts at the Cumberlands triple distance meet.
• Won the 200 free (1:47.41) and 500 free (4:51.86), hitting the B marks in both events.
• Also won in the 1000 free with a time of 9:58.58.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
