Week 10: AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Jose Fernando Perez of WVU Tech is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the 10th and final edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season.

AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Jose Fernando Perez - WVU Tech - Freshman - Trujillo, Peru

• Recorded 2 individual second-place finishes against Salem (W.Va.).
• Posted a time of 2:05.63 in the 200 IM and 1:04.37 in the 100 breast.
• Helped the 200 Medley Relay team to a second-place finish with a time of 1:43.67.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
