Week 8: AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Peter Gilbert of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 30.

Peter Gilbert - Milligan - Freshman - Gainesville, Va.

• Posted 2 individual first-place and a second-place finish in a meet against Cumberlands (Ky.).
• Recorded NAIA 'B' cuts in the 400 free (4:11.75) and the 400 IM (4:44.59).
• Won the 800 free with a time of 8:35.38. Also won the 400 free.
• This is his third weekly honor of the season.
