Week 2: AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Peter Gilbert of Milligan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the second edition of the awards for the 2022-23 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 21.

• Posted 2 individual first-place finishes and 1 second-place finish in a meet against NCAA Division II Carson-Newman (Tenn.).
• Won the 1000 free (9:33.69) and 500 free (4:39.97).
• Registered an NAIA 'B' cut in the 500 free.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
