Week 6: AAC Swimmers of the Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Ben Hawkins of Milligan and Gabby MacPherson of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the sixth and final edition of the awards for the 2021 season.

AAC Men's Swimmer of thWeek
Ben Hawkins - Milligan - Junior - Prosperity, S.C.

• Logged an individual NAIA 'B' cut in the 100 breast (58.90)
• Won both the races he competed in. In addition to the 100 breast, he won the 50 breast (27.09)
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Gabby MacPherson - Milligan - Graduate - Lexington, S.C.

• Posted an NAIA "B" cut in the 200 free (1:59.25).
• Won the 50 fly (27.29) and was third in the 50 free (25.62).
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.
