Week 4: AAC Swimmers of the Week
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Stephen Gilbert of Milligan and Kaylee Williams of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 24.
AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Stephen Gilbert - Milligan - Sophomore - Gainesville, Va.
- Posted 2 NAIA "B" cuts in the 200 fly (2:07.82) and 200 free (1:58.97).
- Won all 3 events he competed in.
- Took first in the 400 free with a time of 4:23.00.
- This is his third weekly honor of the season.
AAC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Kaylee Williams - Milligan - Sophomore - Manchester, Tenn.
- Posted NAIA "B" cuts in the 100 breast (1:16.72) and 200 breast (2:47.93), winning both events and setting pool records in both events.
- Placed third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:4472.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
