AAC Men's Soccer Awards Announced
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced the 2024 Men's Soccer All-AAC Team and Awards on Thursday.
Callum Edwards of Union Commonwealth is the Player of the Year and the Golden Boot Award winner, while Isa Bramble of Union Commonwealth is the Offensive Player of the Year. Daniel Harrison of Union Commonwealth is the Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, and Jonathan Shaw is the Coach of the Year.
The awards were voted on and selected by the men's soccer coaches of the AAC.
Edwards, a sophomore forward, tallied a league-best 12 goals during conference play. In all, he has netted 13 goals and two assists this season in all competitions.
Bramble had nine goals and three assists in conference play while amassing 11 goals and three assists in all competitions.
Harrison, a freshman goalkeeper, posted a .072 goals-against average in 14 games this season, allowing only nine goals and registering 27 saves.
Shaw guided Union Commonwealth to the regular-season championship with an 11-0-1 conference record.
Fourteen players earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team with 14 making the second team. Dozens of players made the grade to earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, while 10 were named to the Champions of Character Team.
