Bryan, Truett McConnell Advance to Men's Soccer Title Game

WALESKA, Ga. - If there is one thing that is predictable about soccer, it's that anything can happen. And the semifinal round of the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Tournament is proof of that.

The top two seeds were surprised as No. 3 Bryan and No. 4 Truett McConnell punched their tickets to the championship match in dramatic fashion.

Bryan played No. 2 Milligan to a 1-1, double-overtime draw but advanced by winning the penalty shootout 4-3.

Meanwhile, Truett McConnell fell behind 1-0 to No. Union Commonwealth just before the half. However, the Bears scored three second-half goals to pull off the 3-1 upset.

Bryan will host Truett McConnell on Saturday for the tournament championship. Game time is to be determined.
