Milligan Picked to Win Men's Soccer Championship
WALESKA, Ga. - After a historic season, Milligan is favored to win the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer championship, according to the AAC Coaches' Preseason Poll released on Monday.
The poll was voted on by the men's soccer coaches of the AAC.
Milligan received all 13 first-place votes for 182 total points. Milligan won both the regular-season and tournament championships last season on its way to finishing as the NAIA National Championship runner-up.
Union Commonwealth (167 points) is picked to finish second with Tennessee Wesleyan (153 points), Columbia International (133 points), and St. Andrews (118 points) rounding out the top five.
Eight teams will advance to the AAC Tournament which begins on Nov. 1 with the championship match currently set for Nov. 9.
