2023 Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket Set; Milligan Claims No. 1 Seed
WALESKA, Ga. - The final spots were locked up on Sunday, and now the field is set for the 2023 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Tournament.
Milligan earned the No. 1 seed by winning the regular-season championship with a 10-0-3 conference record. The Buffaloes also receive an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
In all, eight teams advanced to the tournament, which gets under way on Friday, Nov. 3.
Here are the seeds for the tournament:

- Union (14-1-2, 10-1-2 AAC)
- Tennessee Wesleyan (9-3-5, 9-1-3 AAC)
- St. Andrews (9-4-2, 8-3-2 AAC)
- Truett McConnell (9-2-4, 7-2-4 AAC)
- Columbia International (10-4-3, 7-4-2 AAC)*
- Bryan (8-7-2, 7-4-2 AAC)*
- Reinhardt (9-4-5, 7-4-2 AAC)*
*-Columbia International, Bryan, and Reinhardt all finished the season going 1-1 against each other and all three had a goal differential of plus-12 (with a maximum of 4 goals per game). Columbia International earned the No. 6 seed based on having the better MRPI rating in the most recent edition. CIU is the No. 64 ranked team, while Reinhardt and Bryan are ranked 73rd and 80th. Bryan is the No. 7 seed since it defeated Reinhardt 1-0 during the regular season.
