Week 8: AAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Aleksa Lukic of Truett McConnell and Santiago Corral of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 23.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Aleksa Lukic - Truett McConnell - Freshman
- Made 14 saves as Truett McConnell went 2-0 on the week.
- Had 7 saves in a 5-0 win at Johnson.
- Recorded 7 saves in a 6-2 win over Columbia International.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Santiago Corral - Milligan - Graduate Student - Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Netted 6 goals and had 1 assists as Milligan went 2-0 the week.
- Recorded 3 goals and an assist in a 17-0 win at Kentucky Christian.
- Tallied 3 more goals in a 7-2 win at Montreat.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
