Cumberlands' Wilson Earns NAIA Offensive Player of the Week Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maalek Wilson of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week are selected based on performances from February 24 - March 2 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Maalek Wilson, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SR - Midfielder

• Wilson led the charge for the Patriots last week, pacing them to a pair of wins against a pair of top-10 opponents.
• In the 14-9 win over Madonna (Mich.) he notched four goals, getting Cumberlands (Ky.) ahead in a wire-to-wire match.
• Overall, he tallied five goals, two assists, and seven points while firing 16 shots, eight of which were on frame.
