Week 9: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Michael Toohey of Cumberlands and Dom Lulow of Cumberlands are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the ninth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Michael Toohey - Cumberlands - Senior - Johns Creek, Ga.

  • Made 14 saves in the 21-6 win over SCAD Savannah in the first round of the AAC Tournament.
  • Allowed 5 goals in 50-plus minutes played.
  • Posted a 73.7 save percentage.
  • This is his third weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Dom Lulow - Cumberlands - Junior - Painesville, Ohio

  • Collected 6 goals and 2 assists in the first-round win over SCAD Savannah.
  • Had 4 goals as part of an 11-goal first quarter for Cumberlands.
  • Had 3 groundballs.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
