Week 7: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Liam Wright of Reinhardt and JR Sess of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 15.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Liam Wright - Reinhardt - Senior - Whitby, Ont.

• Recorded 16 saves in a 14-13 overtime win over Cumberlands.
• Posted a 55.2 save percentage.
• This is his second weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

JR Sess - Reinhardt - Senior - Woodstock, Ga.

• Tallied 5 goals and 1 assist in helping Reinhardt to a 14-13 overtime win over Cumberlands.
• Netted the overtime game-winner.
• Had 7 groundballs and caused 1 turnover.
• Won 11-of-12 faceoffs.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
