Week 6: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Teagan Simons of Point and Thomas Van Alstine of Point are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 8.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Teagan Simons - Point - Graduate Student - Littleton, Colo.

  • Recorded 20 saves in a 21-5 win over Montreat.
  • Posted an 80.0 save percentage.
  • Recorded his fourth win of the season.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Thomas Van Alstine - Point - Graduate Student - McHenry, Ill.

  • Tallied 10 goals and 1 assist in helping Point to a 21-5 win over Montreat.
  • Fired 19 shots with 12 on goal.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.
