Week 4: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Michael Toohey of Cumberlands and Ryan Rundle of Keiser are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 25.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Michael Toohey - Cumberlands - Senior - Johns Creek, Ga.

  • Helped Cumberlands to a 1-0 record on the week.
  • Made 12 saves and had a 57.1 save percentage in a win over Indiana Tech.
  • This is his first weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Ryan Rundle - Keiser - Sophomore - Wellington, Fla.

  • Tallied 13 goals and 9 assists in helping Keiser go 2-0 on the week.
  • Set program records with 9 assists and 16 points in a will over Ottawa.
  • Had 8 groundballs and caused 1 turnover.
  • This is his second weekly award this season.
