Reinhardt Sweeps NAIA Player of the Week Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cameron Cochran of Reinhardt (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Liam Wright of Reinhardt (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 4-10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

 

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Cameron Cochran, Reinhardt (Ga.) - SR - Attacker

  • Notching a dozen goals and seven assists, Cochran helped the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 week, that included two upset victories over No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) and No. 2 Webber International (Fla.).
  • Picked up nine ground balls and caused four turnovers.
  • He posted a total of 33 shots, with 23 of those shots being on goal for a 69.7 shot-on-goal percentage.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Liam Wright, Reinhardt (Ga.) - SR - Goalkeeper

  • Started all three games between the sticks last week, playing a total of 165 minutes.
  • Tallied 35 total saves over the trio of contests, making 12 saves in the win against No. 1 Keiser and 16 saves in the upset over No. 2 Webber International (Fla.).
  • Recorded a save percentage of 53%.
