Week 3: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Liam Wright of Reinhardt and Cameron Cochran of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 18.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Liam Wright - Reinhardt - Senior - Whitby, Ont.

• Helped Reinhardt to a 3-0 record on the week.
• Made 35 saves on the week and had a 53.0% save percentage
• Recorded 12 saves in a 19-15 win over No. 1 Keiser.
• Had 16 saves in a 12-10 win over No. 2 Webber.
• This is his first weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Cameron Cochran - Reinhardt - Senior - Marietta, Ga.

• Tallied 12 goals and 7 assists in helping Reinhardt go 3-0 on the week.
• Netted 3 goals and 2 assists in a 19-15 win over No. 1 Keiser.
• Chipped in 4 goals and 2 assists in a 12-10 win over No. 2 Webber.
• Had 9 groundballs and caused 4 turnovers.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
