Week 1: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Chris Rayburn of Keiser and Ryan Rundle of Keiser are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 4.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Chris Rayburn - Keiser - Sophomore - Naples, Fla.
- Helped Keiser to a 2-0 record on the week with wins over 2 top-5 opponents.
- Won 46 of his 64 face-off attempts.
- Set a school record with 29 face-off wins in the 24-14 win over No. 2 Indiana Tech.
- Had 17 face-off wins and 1 assist in a 14-7 win over No. 4 Cumberlands.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Ryan Rundle - Keiser - Sophomore - Wellington, Fla.
- Tallied 7 goals and 6 assists in helping Keiser go 2-0 on the week.
- Had 2 goals in a 14-7 win over Cumberlands
- Tied a school record for most points in a game (11) against Indiana Tech as he scored 5 goals and 6 assists.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
