17 Represent the AAC as NAIA Men's Lacrosse Scholar Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) had saw 17 of its own make the list.
SCAD Savannah led the conference with five honorees. Keiser had four make the team, while Cumberlands had three. Montreat and Tennessee Wesleyan each placed two on the team, and Webber International landed one.
The 2023 list features 83 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
