21 Represent the AAC as NAIA Men's Golf Scholar Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has revealed the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Men's Golf Scholar-Athletes with over 375 student-athletes recognized from over 130 schools nationwide. The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) landed 21 on the list.
Point and Truett McConnell paced the conference with five honorees each. Bluefield, Bryan, Milligan, SCAD Atlanta, and Tennessee Wesleyan placed two honorees apiece, and Columbia International had one.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
