WALESKA, Ga. - EJ Smith of Truett McConnell is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the ninth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 29.

• Scored 25 points and had 3 rebounds in an 86-83 win over Bluefield.
• Shot 64.3 percent (9-of-14) from the field and 80 percent (4-of-5) from 3-point range.
• Also had 1 steal.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
