Week 6: AAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Kyonte Thomas of Pikeville is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 8.
AAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Kyonte Thomas - Pikeville - Junior - Bolingbrook, Ill.
- Averaged 20.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as Pikeville went 2-0 on the week.
- Posted 24 points and 10 rebounds in an 87-63 win over St. Andrews.
- Netted 16 points and 7 rebounds in a 78-58 win over Bluefield.
- Added 24 points and 5 rebounds in a 76-67 win against Rio Grande (Ohio).
- Shot 65.2 percent (15-of-23 shots) from the field.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
