WALESKA, Ga. - Issac Stanback of Pikeville is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2023-24 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 18.

AAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Issac Stanback - Pikeville - Senior - Chicago, Ill.

• Averaged 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as Pikeville went 2-0 on the week.
• Registered 2 double-doubles.
• Posted 24 points and 10 rebounds in an 87-63 win over St. Andrews.
• Recorded 25 points and 11 rebounds in a 93-79 win at Montreat.
• Shot 80 percent (20-of-25 shots) from the field.
• Had 21 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block on the week.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
