Tennessee Wesleyan Favored to Win 2025 Baseball Championship

Tennessee Wesleyan wins the 2024 AAC Tournament

WALESKA, Ga. - Tennessee Wesleyan is the favorite to win the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Championship, according to the AAC Coaches' Preseason Poll released Wednesday.

The baseball coaches of the AAC voted.

Tennessee Wesleyan received eight first-place votes for a total of 140 voting points to claim the top spot. The Bulldogs won the 2024 tournament championship.

Reinhardt picked up the remaining five first-place votes for 137 points to land second. The Eagles won the 2024 regular-season championship with a 25-5 league record.

Rounding out the top five are Milligan (118 points), Johnson (97 points), and Pikeville (95 points).

The top 10 teams in the conference will advance to the 2023 AAC Tournament, which is set for April 29-May 3.
