WALESKA, Ga. - Andrew Herbert of Reinhardt and Dante Morton of Bryan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the 11th and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Andrew Herbert - Reinhardt - Sophomore - San Clemente, Calif.
- Recorded a complete-game, two-hitter in a 15-0 win over Columbia International
- Pitched 7 innings.
- Struck out 14 batters and walked 1.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Dante Morton - Bryan - Junior - Calhoun, Ga.
- Batted .778 on the week as Bryan went 2-1.
- Had 2 home runs and 4 RBIs on the week.
- Scored 6 runs.
- Posted a 1.667 slugging percentage as he had 2 doubles.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
