Week 5: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Hunter Rossi of Union and Tyler Cullen of Bryan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 25.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Hunter Rossi - Union - Senior - Newton, N.J.
- Collected a complete-game victory in an 11-0 win over Reinhardt.
- Surrendered no runs on 4 hits and 2 walks with 5 strikeouts.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Tyler Cullen - Bryan - Senior - Greenback, Tenn.
- Batted .533 in helping Bryan go 3-1 on the week.
- Had 4 home runs and 6 RBIs on the week.
- Scored 10 runs.
- Posted a 1.333 slugging percentage.
- Walked once for an on-base percentage of .650.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
