Week 4: AAC Baseball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Gabriel Delvalle of Bluefield and Nash Crowell of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 18.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Gabriel Delvalle - Bluefield - Junior - San Juan, Puerto Rico
- Collected a complete-game victory in a 2-1 battle against Montreat.
- Allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits and 2 walks with 4 strikeouts.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Nash Crowell - Reinhardt - Junior - Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
- Batted .643 in helping Reinhardt go 3-1 on the week.
- Had 4 home runs and 7 RBIs on the week.
- Scored 9 runs.
- Posted a 1.500 slugging percentage.
- Walked 3 times for an on-base percentage of .722.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
