Truett, Reinhardt to Meet in Tournament Final

WALESKA, Ga. - All season Truett McConnell and Reinhardt have been the top two teams in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), and now the two are in the championship match of the 2022 AAC Women's Soccer Tournament.

Top-seeded Truett McConnell downed No. 4 seed Montreat 5-0. Eliska Dvorakova fueled the Lady Bears attack with a hat trick.

Meanwhile, No. 2 seed Reinhardt fought off a pesky Tennessee Wesleyan squad. Tied at 1-all, Marta Vicente-Arche scored in the 43rd minute to put Reinhardt up 2-1. No. 3 seed Tennessee Wesleyan fired six shots in the second half but could not find the equalizer.

The championship game is set for Saturday, Nov. 12, in Cleveland, Ga.
